I have a couple pairs of Darn Tough socks already but this one is my new favorite. Not only are they stylish but they keep your feet both nice and warm when worn around the house and also dry when worn on hike with boots. Another great product by Darn Tough for sure.

The Best, But...

These socks are the best I've ever worn, and they have lasted through work, hiking, and lounging around. One star off for sizing. I wear a size 14, and the X Large are supposed to fit sizes 12.5 to 14.5. No footwear that fits size 12.5 will properly fit a size 14, so they are short, and require a hard stretching after washing to get them to fit. They are still tight even with… read more the stretching. Come on, Darn Tough, you must be aware that socks like these cannot be expected to cover a full two size range.

Best heavy full-boot sock made...

I wore two different pair for the whole 232 miles of the JMT that I did over a 3 week period with only zinc oxide to prevent microbial grown and no baths or showers and they performed spectacularly in both heat and cold and wet...wouldn't wear anything else for all environments...

Great light mountaineering sock

I use these along with a light liner sock in my mountaineering boots and find they work great for moderate conditions.

The only socks I hike in, period. Have several pair, not that they ever wear out. Great for winter time lounging too.

I've had these for about 7 months. I'm not a hiker, I work on concrete and asphalt 11 hours a day. In the winter my feet get wet because waterproof boots are too heavy. When it's 20° out, my feet are wet, and it's the end of the day and my feet are not cold. Even when it is 80°, sunny, on very hot asphalt my feet are more comfortable than with cotton socks. If I buy more I think I will go to a large.

For Norway

Got these for my dad for our hiking trip in Norway and he said they are just the right amount of padding and kept his foot comfortable on the 12 mile hike we did.

I have the full cushion and the medium cushion version and they are the best socks I've ever owned. They breath well and are very warm and comfortable. I now wear Darn Tough socks every day.

Best socks ever

They are so comfortable. I works all day in construction and they keep my feet warm in the weather and comfy in movement. Even after a long days work, they still fit perfectly and don’t stretch out and slip around. Can’t beat these socks!

Incredible Boot/Hiking Socks

My first thought upon purchasing these: $24 for a pair of socks is really obnoxious. My first thought upon wearing them: OK, I can see why these are so well reviewed and sought after. My first thought after wearing them while walking 8 miles in a pair of work boots: I'm replacing all of my boot socks with these. I recently brought two pairs on a 10-day trip across Europe, and wore them more than any other sock because of overall support and build quality. The best part was that after a day of use, a quick rinse with water and a little detergent, plus a hang dry, made them good as new for the next day. You could definitely get away with just a hang dry because of how well these wick sweat and moisture.

Darn Toughs are amazing...you won't need another kind of sock other than these. I've worn the crap out of them on the Pacific Crest Trail and have only burned through one pair....that's impressive...they even gave me a new pair for free when I sent my worn out pair in. WHAT. Cushion is great...they are perfect...don't overthink it, just get 'em.

Game Changer

One of my favorite socks. Love the higher synthetic blend - they seem to hold up much better. I wear a Medium (size 9-9.5 shoes normally) and it fits quite well. Words cant express how much I love these socks. I picked up a pair of these socks a month ago to help combat the Utah winter,, and since then they have been keeping my feet snug backpacking, climbing, and walking around campus. I wear these socks a lot, they are super comfy and nice and warm in the colder months. Their durability is that of other Darn Tough socks that I've owned, they'll take a beating and still look and feel great. I have a size nine foot and the mediums fit great.
