Comfortable but very weak.

I've had these for about a year and a half and they're almost trashed. The waterproof liner is terrible. It has never breathed much, and caused my feet to sweat like crazy. And now that they're all beat up, it's no longer waterproof at all - and yet, still won't breathe. The boots are crazy comfortable though. Maybe decent winter boots, but then they don't have any insulation. Who knows!? True to size though and they're really good looking. Great coffee shop hiker boots! Ha.

Stylish boots!

Suuuper light. No need for break-in at all! Slick design and a great fashion piece if need be. Haven't hiked in them yet but I've walked around the city aplenty with them on! I only wish the little metal hooks for the laces near the top were a bit more reliable - the laces often come off when tying them at that part of the boot. Otherwise, an awesome product!

Great boot

I wear these boots everyday for work. I love how comfortable and light weight they. The only criticism is the right boot sole that turns up onto the toe box is starting to de-laminate after 3 weeks of wear. Other than that I love them. To Benjamin's point regarding the eyelet problem - I was experiencing a similar discomfort at first. I found it to be the overlapping materials… read more inside the boot that prevents water and other things from getting into the foot bed. I simply tied them a little looser in this area and after a week of breaking them in the issue subsided. Now I dont feel it at all.

Looks great but HURTS

I think the boots look great. I took them on an 18 mile hike out of the box and they worked okay - very lightweight and comfortable enough, but towards the end of the hike I started to get some pain in the front of my shin where one of the lace eyelets was rubbing. A couple weeks later I took them up half dome and almost couldn't get back down, as it had rubbed again badly. My shin… read more was swollen and bruised just from the eyelet and I couldn't even put the boots back on that trip. Just putting them on and wearing around the house now, I can feel the pressure. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend them. They look great, but man they make it tough to hike.
