July 5, 2018Nice Upgrade
A little wider and thicker straps when compared with my older version. The padded hardware cover gives a portion of protection against dents and scrapes. The length was enough for two 35â x 4.5â SUPs.

This is my 3rd pair. i like the quality and durability. It holds my boards well. I do recommend rubber band for easy storage of loos ends.

June 17, 2013These straps are awesome!!
Use these straps with the Dakine wrap pads on the factory installed crossbars on my 2012 Ford Escape. No complaints. They are really sturdy, tighten and hardly ever loosen (if you're driving all day on the highway, stop every couple of hours just to give an extra pull), and show no wear after hauling 3 longboards at a time all up and down the east coast. I don't think I'd ever buy… read more anything else but these. Totally recommend!

September 7, 2012Great Surf Straps
Dakine's Baja straps are super easy to use, durable, and will keep your board sitting securely on your roof/rack. Definitely a great purchase and Dogfunk got these out to me quickly.
