Craft Hale Glow Short - Women's reviews and deals for sale

While the eye-catching reflective bands may be the first thing you notice on Craft's Hale Glow Shorts, you'd be selling them short if your attention span stopped there. With elite level materials, thoughtful construction, and a top-tier chamois, the Hale is an all around impressive short — not just flashy eye-candy on dimly-lit roads. These shorts are made from a Lycra Sport Energy body-control fabric with 4-way stretch, which helps reduce muscle vibration over rough roads thus reducing premature fatigue so you can ride stronger and for longer. They use an ergonomic cut for support and its smooth construction and Mesh Superlight material made of polyester hexachannel fabric allow for active cooling and comfort. Craft's C1 Infinity chamois uses an Elastic Mesh Insert with infinite steps between the thicker sit bone area and the softer wing area. This allows the foam to better follow the anatomy, especially while pedaling, ensuring better blood flow and greater thermo-regulation.

LIked the short; didn't like the chamois

If you like a big thick chamois, this short will probably work for you. Personally, I don't like big thick chamois, as i feel like I have a diaper on. I found over the years from cycling, that the thicker plushier chamoises are not more comfortable, and in fact I think there is an inverse relationship between the two. YEs, the first ride or two of the season, your deriere read more is not going to feel great in any chamois. After that, the chamois does matter. My male riding buddy could not understand why I would complain that my derriere hurts after mile 20. It is not my saddle. He insisted on looking at my cycling shorts when the ride was over one day. So, I went into the ladies room where we parked, took them off, and turn them inside out and walked out with my street shorts on. One look at them and he told me, this chamois is just too big , dense, and thick. Less is more according to him. So my next pair of cycling shorts had a smaller, less thick, and less dense chamois. ANd, guess what, my derrierer did not hurt anymore. Sorry to say ladies that I had to learn this from a man, but I did.
