Columbia Starchaser Peak II Pant - Girls' reviews and deals for sale
The most enthusiastic go-till-you-can't-stand-up outdoors people on the planet aren't mountaineers, and they're not lumberjacks, they're kids. And since kids are pretty much growing all the time, they need pants that keep up with them. Columbia appreciates this fact more than most, so it gave the Girls' Starchaser Peak II Pant outgrown cuffs to keep up with constant growth. Just lengthen the pants by a full two inches when the pants start to look like capris. These insulated snow-stoppers feature Columbia's Omni-Shield water resistant treatment to keep her dry as snow flurries fly. The adjustable waist band and adjustable boot gaiters go a long way to making sure she's still dry when she comes back in from playing outside. The polyester insulation is nice and lofty, and the soft taffeta lining easily slides on over her layers. We all know that kids put their gear through unimaginable tortures, so the reinforced knees are a helpful way to improve the durability.

January 26, 2020Keeps body warm
This is the second time I purchase this for my granddaughter since she outgrew her old pair. True to size, keeps her very warm when playing in the snow.

Donât go by the size chart. Medium is more like a small 7/8. Weâre returning the medium for an XL. Very nice quality though!

November 25, 2015Nice Pants
I bought these for my 6-year-old daughter after having a great pair that lasted forever. They are just as well made as the previous pair, and have a nice waist-chincher for lots of growing room. I think they run big, as she is a solid size 7 in jeans and the small pants are long in the legs and big in the waist, but the pants are adjustable enough that they will work great for… read more at least 2 winters!

November 20, 2015Cool Pants
Haven't been able to wear them yet, but they look great! The color stands out and is very bright (but not too bright). They're a little darker than they look in the picture. BF and I want to go snowboarding this year and I haven't had snow pants in a long time. Outgrow system is cool and the material is great. They look high quality and I am excited to try them out! They seem like… read more they will be warm and waterproof. From all the other reviews I am hoping to become a Columbia believer, seems like many people love the quality.

November 15, 2014Good choice for winter pants
I think we are going on 5 years of Columbia pants - and no end in sight. High quality, good finishing. Outgrow system is awesome! I think they are a little baggy, but I'm not sure I'd say they run big, just cut that way.
