So these fit me a little different than other reviews. I found them tighter around the hips but loose on the waist. They worked super well and loved them for surfing!

WIFE: I've never considered myself super "curvy," but these shorts did not fit me right at all. The length was long, the leg holes were huge, and it was super tight in the hips/waist area. Maybe I got a weird cut, but returned it.

These shorts fit true to size and sooo comfortable. They are light weight but not so thin that one is worried about bulges or bumps. They are baggie or gapping at all. They are perfect from moving from different water sports such as the kayak to paddle board to just hanging with friends on the dock. These are really awesome board shorts, they have a good fit to them, not too short but not baggy either. They are really light weight and fit true to size. I got the pool bali color but my legs are too pale for that color so I returned them but will probably get them in a darker color!

brought like 5 pairs of boardshorts on a surf trip down south this winter and ended up reaching for these every day. love the stretch microfiber, it's soft and comfy. btw the short is SOOOO much cuter than it looks in the photo, it's not as wide in the hips. I've bought a few pairs of these over the years and they last forever too.
