The most versatile!

I only snowboard once or twice a year so I wanted a winter jacket that not only looked cute wearing it around town in the winter, but I wanted a jacket that I could trust on the hill as well. The sherpa lined collar is so cozy too! Highly reccomend!

Super Great Jacket

I got this jacked for a first time ski trip to Colorado. I was hesitant about going all out on gear I would never wear again, especially if I didn't like skiing. I got this jacket as a compromise, as something to keep me warm on the slopes and hopefully be something I wear again. Not only was this a great jacket to have while skiing, I wear it casually and get compliments on it read more every single time I wear it. The room in the jacket was great for layering, and for me personally, not too tight or too loose. The skirt and interior pockets were perfect for keeping snow off me and keeping my phone and sandwiches safe on the mountain! Casually, this jacket can also be pulled in at the waist for a casual and more feminine look. Overall, I was very impressed with my purchase!

Well made put poor fit

This jacket was really well made and I loved the sherpa lining. I felt warm with the jacket on. However, the fit made me look like an old lady and was not at all figure flattering. The pink was a nice blush type pink.

Quality Jacket for Snowboarding & Warm

I wore this jacket boarding this weekend in Taos and I was not disappointed one bit! I love how there are a ton of pockets. The length is perfect for keeping warm and the snow out of your pants/bum. I love the adobe color and helps me stand out on the slopes. I have Burton pants so I really like that I can utilize the waist gaiter with jacket-to-pant interface.

Lots of pockets!

2018/19 jacket has lots of pockets and a longer cut. The jacket has a bigger cut in general compared to the 2017/18 version but also runs big. I typically wear a small in Burton Jackets but the XS in this jacket fit me better.

I'm a Fan

I purchased this jacket in November (so before the start of ski season) and while I have not worn it snowboarding yet, I love the fit and feel of this jacket. It is a bit long but the arms and waist fit well. The different fabric around the neck is a great feel. I just need the snow now so I can take this jacket outdoors!

great jacket

This jacket is comfortable! Overall I like the fit and it runs only slightly big. I like to layer under my jackets for warmth on the windy days. A couple things I don't like: the thumb hole sleves are too short and cut off your circulation when you put gloves on. The double zipper can be nice, but i a jacket like this its more annoying. The zippres move when you have the jacket read more on and get caught when trying to unzip. A couple things I like: inside has velcro loops to attach to your pants instead of a snow skirt. Plenty of pockets! The green color is sweet and true to how it looks on the site. I am not a huge fan of the phone case because its small and I don't have a very big phone.

Make room in your closet for this gem

First of all, it’s Burton, ‘nuf said typically but here’s. Bit more about this jacket gem. It has all of the awesome hallmarks of Burton jackets: an easy cut that won’t interfere with your moves, space to store all of your riding accessories, a textile pattern that screams, “I came to play and want to look good while doing it”’ and warm enough to enjoy the ride without read more over-heating. What’s not to love?! It’s perfect!

Love my new ski jacket!

This jacket is great, it keeps me warm even on the coldest days I've been out so far this season (negative 5 degrees Fahrenheit with high winds). Waterproofing has held up quite well as I've worn in on some wet snow days already this year, even with the fleece lining around the collar. I also love the including silicon case for my phone because I love listening to music when read more I ski. It definitely runs a bit large! I like my jackets a little baggy with some room to move around in, so I usually buy a medium but the small is a much better fit for me, still with plenty of room to move around. If you like tight-fitting jackets I'd recommend you downsize two sizes instead of one. The waist cinch is another good feature if you like the more feminine look when you ride!

Great jacket!Amazing Pattern!

I definitely did not need to purchase another jacket to add to my collection but the quilted pattern was too cute to pass up. The fit is great and l really liked that you could cinch the waist for a more feminine flare. The one thing I had trouble with were the thumb holes. They are a little too tight around my hands and didn't extend far enough to be comfortable under my gloves. read more

LOVE!

Loooooove this jacket! I have always loved Burton! I wear it for skiing and as a casual jacket - because it's so dang cute, especially in the green color that I have :) I really like the style of the drop tail, the jacket is a little big longer and looks really cute with my skinny snow pants. This jacket is so warm! I wear a light base layer underneath because its so toasty. I read more love the fleece at the top, which doubles as a neck warmer and isn't scratchy or annoying on your face like some jackets can be which is such a bonus. Inside the phone pocket is a plastic phone case that is attached to the jacket with a stretch string. The case actually works really well, I have no problem with the touch screen at all and its nice to have the phone on a screen so no worries of dropping your phone. That was a really nice surprise feature. Its been snowing non stop here this month and the waterproofing has totally held up on deep pow days. I have had no complaints with that at all. It does run big, I would recommend going a size down for sure.

Wife Loves it!

Bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift in XS. She's a tiny person (5' 2", maybe 105lbs). It fits her well but has that kinda bell shaped look that popular in snowboard jackets these days. She is someone who is always cold and said she does need an extra layer sometimes compared to her previous down insulated jacket.

Trust me you will love it

After 20 years of snowboarding I finally bought a "snowboarding" jacket. Ski jackets are just fine, but wow does this one rule them all! Day 1 - cold, storming, windy and I stayed warm, dry, comfortable, AND got multiple complements on the lifts. This jacket is functional and fashionable. Soft, flexible material. Nice weight - I run hot, and with a simple base layer this provides read more plenty of warmth, with pit zips when quick cooling is needed. Love the built in thumb holes that attach the sleeve to my hand, and the velcro+zip closure pockets in front are super convenient. Corduroy and waist drawstring detail for the win! On sizing - I think this jacket runs true to size. I normally buy a small and wouldn't have purchased an XS, as I think it would too be snug. It looks a little baggy before you tie the waist string because cut is a relaxed and length longer, leaving good room for movement. Tie the waist drawstring and you're good to go. Plus the thumbholes in sleeves are just barely long enough in the small. Only (tiny) complaint is the hood stay snug around my helmet while riding, despite having tightened the drawstrings. A small price to pay, since it works when I'm not cruising!

I lava it!

When buying shirts I vary between XS and S. For jackets I almost always go small to account for layering. I ordered a small in this jacket. When it arrived I was a little weary in how light weight the jacket felt. It also looked like it was going to be too big, but I'm so pleased I got the small. I was able to wear a shirt and a hoodie underneath comfortably!! I've worn the jacket read more at least 5 times now and it gets HOT underneath.

Cool look, Careful of sizing

This jacket is one of the coolest designs I have seen in a long time from Burton. The prowess is packed with features. The back of the jacket has a very low and dove tail cut to cover you on cold lifts and keep snow out from the inevitable powder day tomahawk. The cinch in the waist does make the bottom bell out a bit, but you don't notice when you are riding since you are tucked read more down. Good bit of insulation in this jacket keeps you warm and the exterior is super durable. Great jacket for the style minded consumer but does run a bit large.

True to Size

I wish I wouldn't have listened to the other reviews and would have bought a Medium instead of a small. With the small I wasn't able to fit anything under this jacket and still be able to zip it up! Definitely not how I like to layer for winter... don't do what I did, buy the size of all your other jackets and be happy with your purchase!
