Burton Baker 2-In-1 Mitten - Men's Reviews

April 16, 2018Decent Gloves
These gloves look great and are very warm, especially with the inner gloves they come with. They don't seem like they will hold up very long though. I already have wear and tear showing through on the palm/finger area of the gloves after 5 days out on the mountain so they don't seem like they will last too long.

February 2, 2015Good while they lasted
I used these a season and a half, ~40-50 days, and they just got a large tear in the side. They seem kind of cheaply built, but I knew that may be the case with the price. They're warmer than they look, and fairly comfortable. The material and construction could be improved though.

July 17, 2013Good Mitten, especially for the Money
One thing that is not clear from the description is that there is an adjustable wrist tether. This is such an awesome feature! On the lift, if you take your mittens off, they are impossible to drop. I used to lose a least 1 mitten per season (even with MANY heroic rescue attempts) and haven't lost ANY since I started using wrist tethers. Also it's fun to pretend to drop a mitten… read more and mess with your friends' heads...just sayin'. The liners don't seem to add much warmth. I don't expect to use them in the mittens very much, but maybe for driving to/from the mountain. That's if I don't lose them...they don't velcro in or anything. (However, even without the liners, the mittens seem warm enough. Mittens are inherently warmer than gloves.) These mittens seem well made and the materials feel great inside and out. My only problem with the fit/feel is that the partition between the thumb and fingers is too restrictive. It's not like I have webbed hands, but that area is just really tight. With the wrist strap AND gauntlet drawstring, there are lots of options to keep snow out.

February 25, 2013Warm, does what it's intended to do
Not as durable as I would've liked, I've already had 3 holes after 2 days of riding with it. However, it works like how it should, so I really can't complain. I guess I've just come to accept that gloves/mittens aren't going to last you more than one season (if you go 15+ days a season). Runs true to size. Roomy fit in the mitten

February 12, 2013Burton Baker mitts
Very soft inner and outer lining but not as rugged a material as my older burton tactic mitts, pocket for hand warmer is nice but my hands never really get that cold when I'm on the snow

February 11, 2013Best bang for the buck!
Bought these for my whiney cousin! Always coming to visit and always complaining his gloves suck. I bought these for him to finally shut him up and enjoy our days on the slopes. They worked! Thank GOD for these! Definitely highly recommend these!

January 28, 2013What you'd expect from Burton
I just got these gloves, and they are the typical high-quality that I expect from a Burton product. Not only are they warm, soft, and fuzzy, but they have the standard high-end features that I love Burton gloves for including: goggle wipe pad, nose wipe cloth, easy to cinch wrist closure (easy to use even when you're wearing the gloves), and grippy & durable palm. The liner… read more gloves seem super warm for how thin they are. My only complaint is that I'm not a huge fan of the 3-in-1 aspect of these gloves. I like that the liner can come out while I'm on the lift, but I don't like having to keep track of them when I'm not using them. They don't attach inside anywhere. I might opt for a simpler glove next time, but that's just personal preference.
