January 20, 2020I want Mittens not gloves
These gloves are Almost perfect... But I have gloves for days when I want gloves... I want mitts for days when I want to add handwarmers to the mix. The separated fingers are not what I want out of my mitts!

Solid mitten for warmer days. The only reason these mittens didn't get 5 stars is because when the temperatures are below 25, my finger tips get cold. Other than that, they have durable leather, a decent price and comfortable.

March 18, 2019Warm and dry
Excellent mitten with perfect insulation and waterproofing. Leather has good padding across the knuckles and is very warm overall. Purchased these as a gift for a friend and they were well received.

These mittens are sweet. They are nice and warm while also being a low profile mitten. They easily go under the cuff and aren't doing bulk for any of your skiing and riding adventures.

December 19, 2018Spark Mitten
I have long fingers, so I bought a size medium. The cuff is short and doesn't quite line up with my wrist on one hand, which is a bummer. But the mittens are very soft, have finger dividers inside, and seem sturdy. I bought the smoke color, and they appear to be a very dark gray. These keep my hands warm in temperatures from 32 to 15 degrees.

December 18, 2018Super Cozy Warm
These gloves are awesome! After many years with my beloved Gourdinis, they were looking a little worse for wear and I was worried I wouldn't find a pair I loved as much. I am pleased to say that I am in love with these new mittens. The individual finger pockets help me grab onto things better than I would have expected and the leather/interior fleece combo kept my hands super warm… read more all day which is certainly no easy task. My only complaint would be that they're pretty thick and if you wore them on a warmish day they might make your hands sweaty. 10/10 would recommend.

November 28, 2018Great Fit!
Have not utilized these out in tough snow/ski conditions this season. I sized up to a Medium, typically edge for a small in a mitten, but these fit great with a little extra wiggle room. There are dividers where your go inside which is a unique feature. I purchased the teal/black version, the true in person color is a deeper less bold teal as depicted in the photo. The clip makes… read more for easy storage. The wrist is snug with the flap, and fits great under a jacket. Easy on/off. Would buy again.

Super warm, but size up. I have small hands and they were still tiny at a small!

March 2, 2018so warm and cozy just not my color
I loved trying these on at my house when I first received order. Unfortunately the color wasn't for me. The price of these mittens and the warmth they give is unbeatable. Check the size chart for accurate measurement of what size to order.

November 3, 2017Tested them all - these WIN
I did a bit of a product test on my end. I ordered a slew of mittens trying to find the perfect ones. These ones win and I bought them in both colors! I tested the Hestra Fall Line, the Gordini DT Leather Mitten, and the Gordini Paramount Mitten. Here are my findings on all: Black Diamond Spark: These won on so many categories. First, the soft fleece interior has individual finger… read more spots which means warmer hands and better movement and grip inside the glove. When I make a fist, my mitten moves with me. These are insulated and warm, and the real bonus is that they are already treated with a waterproof treatment, which is hard to find in leather gloves. All around winner. Price point sealed the deal and I purchased a small in both colors. Hestra Fall Line - these are sooo luxurious. But the leather just felt too soft for heavy mountain use. One grip on a tow line and these things would be toast. But the look, feel, and even smell is superb. They have the individual finger slots like these Black Diamond ones, but they don't feel as insulated, and they also are not pre-treated with a waterproof treatment - you have to do that work on your own. Both Gordinis (combining into one category because they are so similar): These are both good mittens, but they just didn't match up to the BD Spark. I didn't like how my hand felt inside them. Whenever I would make a fist, my fingers would actually move inside the mitten and the mitten would stay stationary. In other words, not having the individual finger slots like the two above turns out to be bulky and rigid. They do have wrist straps which is nice when removing on the chair. They feel warm, but neither are completely waterproof, meaning you'll have to treat these on your own with a waterproofing treatment, which is a pain and can leave a mess on your other clothes. Trust me - buy the Sparks. You won't regret it.
