Black Diamond Dynex Sewn Runners reviews and deals for sale

Black Diamond's Dynex 10mm Sewn Runners weigh 30% less than nylon runners to save weight on your rack for both summer and winter climbing. In addition to a low weight, Dynex runners also have less bulk, so they don't take up as much space on your rack, in your pack, and over your shoulder. They also absorb less water than nylon and don't freeze—obvious benefits for ice and alpine climbing. You need runners for just about every climb, so use these ultralight ones from Black Diamond.

Stronger than fear itself

When you're either making draws or using them for anchors, they will get the job done. They'll last for years but you might want to keep good maintenance if you're planning on using them that long. They aren't pricey so get as many as you can!

Always a part of the kit

There are quite a few uses for these slings, they're always on the kit though. Wrap them the right way and they take up no space on your harness.

Slingin'

Pretty stoked on these. They are thin, small, light and strong. Kind of the wonder combo of characteristics. I picked up a few different lengths for this winter for ski mountaineering building anchors. The price is right so if leave a few behind its easy enough to buy a replacement.

Say no more

Lightweight and thin. I keep coming back for them time and time again. One of the cheapest and easiest ways to slim down your rack.

Nice Thin and Light Sling

I picked up a couple of these in 120cm length for general use climbing. They are great for anchor building, long alpine draws, personal anchors. They have a nice supple feel and handle nicely.

Booyaa

Love these guys! Light and sleek to be unnoticeable on your rack. A size range is good to have for different routes, but the yellow 60cm is always my go to so stock up on those.

Very Solid

Believe the hype. These are great runners compared to nylon. Light weight, strong and easy to carry. I bought a couple of 60 cm for anchors and ended up buying 120cm later so I would definitely recommend getting a few different sizes on your purchase.

Great Product

About 2 years ago I switched all of my alpine draws over to these slings. It was the best decision I have ever made. Switching from Nylon slings to Dynex helped to lighten and condense my alpine rack.

What is the kilonewton rating for the 120cm & 60cm? Cheers

Does the length refer to the full length of the runner (as if you cut the runner and measured the full length of the dynex), or length from looped end to looped end when doubled (like from biner to biner)? Thanks
