My BFF <3

Over the last few years, my Tiger and I went through everything together from sport projecting to ice to multi pitch trad. It caught every trust fall *cough whip* and uncoiled forgivingly even after those bad weather days when it got shoved into the bottom of my pack during speedy escapes. After a good wash, it glowed good as new. It also held up real well after bad whips. read more The unicore binds the sheath and the core together, so although the sheath got cut, the two remained in place instead of sliding around. Reliable durabilty and surprisingly thinner than you'd think a 10mm would feel. The damaged ends have been cut to a gym rope because I can't let it go. <3 #BFFL

Is this rope more flexible than a typical climbing rope? I own this rope, just bought it this season. After only a few sessions, I noticed some fraying on one end and found I could fold the rope so there was no space in the loop (you know, the standard way to test if a rope is core shot). So I cut that end off...but then noticed that the whole rope folds pretty tight on itself. read more So, I guess what I’m asking is, is it normal for this rope to be so “bendy,” and, if so, what is the sign that the rope is core shot and needs to be cut??
