Its four-way stretch fabric promotes free movement on the climb, and the short's gusseted construction ensures full mobility on the mountain. The fabric has a DWR treatment to shed moisture and keep a clean look on all your adventures.

Almost perfect!

I was pretty excited to get these shorts. I have a similar experience to a lot of others I saw in the reviews. The button hole is snug, so it's definitely a two handed operation to get them on or off. I think the sizing is just right, I don't need the draw string, but the 32 fits me just fine (ALL my pants are 32 waist). The front pockets are big enough to carry most cell phones read more (my OnePlus 6T easily fits). The only reason I'd say they aren't perfect is the lack of back pockets. Sure, these are meant for climbing but they're so comfortable I wear them all the time and back pockets would come in handy.

Great, but needs a back pocket!

I bought these for my husband, who is 180lb and 6'3", in a size 32. He says that they run on the smaller side but fit him nicely. They hit just above the knee. He loves these for casual wear in the summer to run errands, go out to dinner, or hang out. He also wears them for easy, slower hikes and says that the front zippered pockets are fantastic. They are breathable but hold up read more better than a pair of gym shorts. The only recommendation he has is that these should include a zippered back pocket. It would be nice to stash a small water bottle there during a casual, backpack/hydro vest - free hike.

Fine since they were on clearance.

I just got these shorts in the mail. I really like the color and the fabric reminds me of the prana Zion material but maybe a bit lighter? I was a little bit hesitant to buy them because I wasn’t sure on sizing. Some brands in a 32 some a 33 so I went up to 34 assuming I’d get to use the draw strings. They are much tighter than I expected. I won’t need the draw strings unless read more they stretch out quite a bit. Also this is kind of picky I know but the hole for the burton on the waist is only big enough for the burton if I. Really push might just be me but kind of irritating. I got them on sale half off so for the money I’m going to keep them but I’m not overly impressed.

So much more than a climbing short

The Steort climbing short is quickly becoming my go-to short for all of my outdoor adventures. This short is incredibly versatile and truly performs as a climbing short. I also find myself using for hiking, fishing, and general everyday use. The material is super durable with a lot of stretch that enables full freedom of movement. I recently wore these shorts on a fly fishing trip read more in Costa Rica and they held up well hiking around the jungle, were comfortable in hot humid weather, and dried quickly after getting wet. The front pockets with zipper closure is perfect for holding and securing your phone, keys, or other critical items.

Versatile

These shorts are awesome and everything a climbing short should be. Its stretchy material that feels durable and not "slicky." Like a stretchable canvas. I like how they come just above the knee for me so the shorts do not catch my knee when it bends at all. These dont get in my way when climbing.

Bring it summer

With a tough yet stretchy fabric and athletic fit, these are going to be great for warm days on PNW rock. The fit is perfect with plenty of mobility in a harness. More of a "board short" fit without being baggy. I'm stoked the Steort shorts have zippered pockets! Nothing worse than dropping something on your belayer.

Super stretch

The only thing I would change on these is making them a tad shorter, but I am a little euro when it comes to short length. They stretch like crazy, great for a day bouldering or climbing when temps get just too much for pants.

Hi I’m a roadie. I have trouble in cold weather riding with my eyes tearing. Would these goggles help with the tearing? And will they work with a road bike helmet? Thank you.
