November 24, 2020It's sooooo BIG!
This bag is so big that you can bring your mom along! We will definitely be using this on our longer trips and adventures. The bag looks to be made very well, and the backpack straps will aid in the carrying of this HUGE bag.

November 16, 2020Rain, sleet, sandstorm, no problem
You could spend a little more on the shiny boutique bags but then you would not have a handy dry-bag side pocket which comes in very handy if you want to keep dirty or wet items from the main compartment (it expands into the main compartment: smart). I was able to fit all my gear for a 4 day trip and I always overpack. I had this bag in my tent vestibule when 40-50 mph winds… read more snapped a pole and my rainfly got a bit shredded. The bag was exposed to blowing sand, which led to rain, then to sleet. I just had to brush it off in the morning and everything inside was safe and sand-free. Iâll be getting one of each of the smaller sizes, Iâm sold.

October 23, 2020Killer Durable Bag That Fits EVERYTHING!
My husband got this duffel for overnight work shifts. He throws it around in his truckbed, trunk, etc. and it never shows signs of wear or tear. He squeezes in a sleeping bag, pillow, work outfit, computer, books, toiletries, etc.—you'll never run out of space! Also love the many easy-to-grab handles as well as backpack carry option. We plan to use it one day when we fly again… read more to be able to accommodate a family of four's stuff so we don't have a million bags!

October 14, 2020Great bag for college bound students
We bought this bag for nephew. He packed it the very next day and brought it to college. He loves the bag. It is huge, sturdy, and a great value.

October 13, 2020Best large duffel
This is basically a body bag, given I got mine in black. It holds more gear than I've ever fit into a bag, and use it for all of my camping gear to and from the house, truck, and camp site.

August 12, 2020Amazing Bag!!!
I was looking for something durable in the backpack style. This bag checked all the boxes. I do a lot of stairs when I walk and I have two little kids this bag allows me to help my kids and carry their bag. The size is perfect. I pack my two littles ones together in this. I would highly recommend this.

June 6, 2020Amazing!
I travel from USA to Argentina and it was the best. Very comfortable and waterproof so your stuff is protected. Big and spacious. I sent the duffel to the hold and it arrived perfect. The weight was 40lbs in the 90L. The best colour is blue.

December 13, 2019Enough room to bring your sink
Very spacious and easy to open up and rummage through, this bag has really helped me organize and pack up for camping or travel. The shoulder straps make carrying this through the airport a breeze compared to the days where I'd be lugging around a few bags by their handles or using a one strap sling over the shoulder. Waterproof internal storage is perfect for that dirty laundry… read more or if you need to quicky stash a wet rain shell without worrying about it getting your other stuff wet. Outer daisy chain gear loops are also a nice added feature to quickly clipon some gloves or anything else you wait to not hold or put in your pocket but still want close at hand. Lastly, the sheer size of this is amazing. 105L does sound huge, but then actually seeing it and managing to stuff everything I need for a trip in there with room to spare was surprising. Comparable other duffels would be the Black Hole or Base Camp but this does just a well at a lower price point. Definitely recommened this to anyone looking for that large, roomy duffel to load up for long trips

September 3, 2019Large Cavernous describe this duffel
The Backcountry 105 duffel is just that. The duffel swallows gear at an alarming rate. I am a sailor and trek sails - gear back and forth to my sailboat. This bag achives the task without a hitch. The center pocket will stash a weeks worth of gear. It is easy to organize and find gear in the voluminous cavern. Plenty of space to move things around when searching for that one item.… read more This duffel is built to last. Quality construction - bomber seams - quality straps. Must have

May 1, 2019Awesome Bag
This bag is great and can be used for pretty much everything. The design of the bag gives lots of organized room. It is super water resistance to keep all your gear dry during those storms. The built in water pocket is great for wet or dirty clothes and keeps it separated from your other gear. I might grab another one in a smaller size for shorter trips just cause the bag is that… read more awesome!

April 17, 2019Awesome Bag
With a family of four I have been using this bag to haul our ski gear to and from the lodge at the resort. Works great to put helmets, gloves, goggles and everything else we tot around. I feel good just throwing it around on and off the snow. We use it way more than I expected.

April 11, 2019What do you need? Everything?
On those trips when you actually need to bring everything, this bag does it with style. A couple mesh pockets in the lid keep small items organized, but the body is one giant hole that swallows all but the most extreme expedition's gear. On a ski trip to the Uintas, I had enough room for the tent and my ski boots in the bag, along with layers, some camera equipment in their own… read more bags, and food! The only con that I have found (and it's only a con if you're not filling up the side pocket) is that if you have just a few things in the side pocket, the fabric that separates the two compartments is designed to allow you to overstuff the side pocket. When you only have a couple things in there, they can get lost in the extra fabric.

This bag recently accompanied me on a dive trip to Northern California. To say the least, it was wet and to say the most, this bag held itâs own. The super durable material kept water out during downpours. Even though itâs waterproof, the top flap overlaps the tough zippers keeping water from directly seeping in, making it pretty damn resistant. If you need to grab something… read more during a downpour, the large flap also doubles as a rain fly to help keep gear dry⦠or your sweet perm. All the compartments and pockets help keep everything extra organized and easy to find. The stitching and straps seem well built as well. I donât see it falling apart any time soon. Excited to take it on more trips!

December 21, 2020This is a fire design, but would be better if at least the main compartment had a molded-plastic zip (VISLON) rather than the coil zip. Coil zips bend and warp under load and always fail eventually. Molded plastic zips cost a few cents more in the BOM but last forever, never break, and are easier to zip as well. Waiting for v2!!

December 6, 2020Do the backpack straps also have hip support straps for longer hikes?

May 20, 2020Is this bag water proof or does it just have a water proof pocket? I'm not talking submersible, I'm just looking for something that'll keep everything dry in a heavy rain storm. So I want it to have a water proof top, sides and bottom but not necessarily water proof zipper if that all makes sense.

January 25, 2020Are the zippers to the main compartment lockable? I’m hoping to get this bag for a trip to Nepal and want to lock it for the flights.
