I love having this as a touring oriented helmet. It's light, comfortable, the merino wool liner is sweet and plenty warm. No reason to take anything more (or less - like a climbing helmet) for any mission I'm doing. I tried skiing without the liner some, which is nice in the spring and you can wear a light hat or ball cap underneath instead.
