Astute Italia Miss Line VT Saddle - Women's reviews and deals for sale

Pushing the boundaries of saddle innovation without straying from their Venetian roots, Astute Italia crafted the Miss Line VT Saddle with a premium fit and finish, alongside a female-specific round shape and center channel cut-out.  The open, U-shaped shell reduces pressure and ensures support for female cyclists pushing themselves on a daily basis. This particular saddle belongs to Astute Italia's Miss Line of elegant saddles designed exclusively for female cyclists, with this particular saddle developed with input from the Wiggle Hi5 women's cycling team.

Astute Italia uses a soft, washable Italian microfiber cover for durability and comfort, alongside dual-density Progressive Memory Foam in two selective areas, as to ensure the rear end is a bit firmer to support the sit bones and front is softer for a bit more comfort and mobility. The rails employ tubular Titan-V Technology of 80 percent titanium and 20 percent vanadium to reduce vibration without sacrificing the saddle's lightweight efficiency and robust strength on the road.

Best I've had

I was looking for a women's saddle with a little padding to replace my too big, too uncomfortable Selle Italia Diva. Although the Diva seems very popular, I rode off-center due to its size. In a chat session to look at other saddles, the rep said the Astute was popular with the women at CC, but it was not padded. I ordered this and four others. Visually, three were discounted and read more sent back. I tried the Selle Italia lady gel S and immediately discounted it for the hard sit bone area. Overall it was much firmer than the Astute, which has enough but not too much padding. I've ridden the Astute saddle on at least 5 rides now (40-85 miles each). It isn't perfect, but it is quite tolerable. I don't rub my legs on the nose area, and the sit bones are happy. Some soft tissue issues remain, but I think these may be due to old shorts or the saddle and cleat positions, which were just changed at a local store known for its fit assessments. As a reference, I was measured to have 115 mm sit bone distance, and I'm 5'4", 120 lbs.
