Super cute and practical.

I loved this piece, especially in the "Treeline Tonic" color. I really like the color combo with the bright green zippers. This jacket does have a bit longer of a fit which kept all snow out of my jacket. This kept me super dry and saved me from the heavy wind days. The hood fit really well over my helmet. One feature that I felt that it was missing was that it did not have the read more lower sleeve pocket for a ski pass. I did put it in the upper sleeve pocket and it worked just fine. Awesome jacket with some super cute color combinations!

Versatile touring/resort shell!

This is a great crossover shell for resort and touring! It is lightweight enough to stuff in your pack on a tour, but durable enough with a powder skirt to feel confident in the resort. The longer length adds extra protection from the snow on deep Utah powder days!!! I also really like that the hood is helmet compatible so I can zip it all the way up over my helmet without restricting read more my vision or movement!

My new favorite shell!

Arc’teryx For the win, again! I am always impressed my this brand but this jacket is even better than I was expecting! First off i love the way this jacket fits, it’s very flattering and is smaller and larger where it should be! The jackets length is also awesome, it is just long enough to cover your butt so you get that little extra warmth in that area and when you sit down read more it’s great for keeping your butt warm and dry. Yet, it’s not too long where it’s unmanageable to move around, it’s the perfect length. I stayed super dry in this coat as well! The zippers are very well made so your not getting any water to leak through there (and there are a lot of zippers!) In some shells like this one I find that they can feel somewhat heavy and have a crunchy feeling, but not with this coat! It is super lightweight so it feels like it’s barely there although it’s actually doing a lot for you! And the fabric is pretty smooth so none of the crunchy stiff feeling that some shells tend to have! All around a awesome Multi-purpose coat for adventures. Thank you Arc’teryx!!

Awesome shell

One of the best shells I've worn snowboarding! Great pocket size and placement, the fit is perfect and I love the length (I'm 5'1 and most jackets in this style are too long and boxy) . I just wish it came in more colors!

Winner!

This jacket has every thing any Lady ripper could need! It is super light and flexible, yet so durable and waterproof. Lots of great pockets as well. I tend to get pretty warm when I ski, so I just wear a thick base-layer and a light puffy vest underneath. I really appreciate the large pit vents during those strenuous hikes! This Jacket will last you for years! 10/10!

Nailed it!

The Sentinel works hard keeping me dry on a powder day. I was replacing a 10 year old Arcteryx Theta jacket and probably tried on dozens before choosing the Sentinel. Being taller, I love the added length in keeping me covered when reaching or celebrating and still being stylish. It's good looking and technical. The only minor issue, is that I wish the powder skirt was removable read more so it could be a more all around jacket for backpacking and climbing etc. Still, it's an A+ in my book!

Love Arc’Teryx Sentinel fav Ski Jacket

Wife had a North Face Thermoball. She likes the slim fit and lighter weight of this jacket! Surprised how She could layer up with near 0 degree weather in Whistler during the Polar Vortex. Lol ! Stayed warm without the bulk easy to move around! Second year to Whistler maybe it was the cold weather that moved in but the ski slope was a huge advertisement for Arc’Teryx Seemed read more like almost everyone was wearing Arc’Teryx!

Technical Fasion

This jacket was part of a demo fleet that my company has for the employees to use. I used it for a weekend at Bear Lake and loved it so much that I bought it the following week. Arc'teryx is a brand renowned for their state of the art, top of the line performance pieces. With the Sentinel LT they did not skimp out. The jacket has many pockets to store all of your inbound skiing read more needs. Two large chest pockets, and two large hip pockets. It is sleek and stylish, with some bright colors so you are not lost in the crowds. The length is unique to Arc'teryx as well, usually they boast shorter cuts, but with this coat they let it hang low. The jacket falls to right around mid-thigh. I am 5'4" on a good day and the small sat right there. With the small, I was also able to layer with my base layers, and a stout mid layer with plenty of room to breathe. While being a 3layer gortex piece, and completely bombproof, it breathes so well I can use this piece for touring as well. I'll be the most stylish gal on the hill. Can't wait to get my jacket and get into the backcountry!

Great jacket, but no good for boarding

Bought it for the wife. Great fit, great color. Didn't work well when she got into her power stance.

Unusable for snowboarding

When trying on this jacket, I find that the long and narrow shape of this jacket unfortunately constrains leg movement. This is a problem especially while making turns on the snowboard on steep terrain. Hence its unusable for me and I am returning this jacket. For a jacket this long, it would be better to either make it wider at the bottom, or provide a two-way zipper, or some read more other way to adjust the width.

I'm Obsessed

This is my favorite ski jacket EVER. I've always loved the Sentinel, but wished it were longer. This year, my dreams came true! Arc'teryx came through with a trim cut, longer length ski shell and it's a dream. It has a super soft brushed backer on the inside to keep you comfortable when wearing it over a shirt, huge pit zips to dump heat, pockets all over the place, and a helmet-compatible read more hood to keep the weather out when you're shredding on a pow day. The longer cut makes this jacket cute enough to wear out on the town too, which is a huge plus. Moral of the story: I love this jacket and can't wait to actually ski in it.
