Fantastic baselayer

This is by far one of the best baselayers that I have used! I am 6'1" and 170lbs and the medium and the large fit perfectly. The only difference that I have found between the two is that the medium has a little bit tighter fit in the torso section. The sleeve and torso length is the same so you just have to decide how snug you like your shirt to be. I have worn this shirt as a stand read more alone at 45 degrees and was comfortable. And I have been in 28 degrees with a 300 weight fleece jacket and was almost too warm.

Delightfully warm

I bought this as a base layer for skiing and it hasn’t let me down yet. I use it mostly on cold days, wearing this, a medium weight fleece and shell jacket. Really does the job and is super comfy. While it is certainly a bit pricey, I feel it was money well spent, especially when the wind is howling on the ski lift.

Very Warm Base Layer

I purchased this before deer camp 2 years ago. I wore it daily and put it to the test. Item fit perfectly knowing that these items tend to fit snug. This totally exceeded my expectations!

Size runs smaller than expected

6’4” 225 XL is tight fit. want to like this purchase but not sure I can squeeze into it long enough to attempt to wear it. Have XL in other arc’teryx that fit much better. My problem is I bought in the off season and didn’t try it on until awhile later. My bad.

Super Warm

Used this for a week skiing in sub-zero temps at Big Sky. It’s a great mid-layer that is really warm. Like all Arteryx stuff I've purchased, it’s slim & snug, which is precisely what I wanted. There are scads of baselayer out there and loads of coats, of course, but finding mislayers seems tougher to me. This top is perfect for cold weather.

best out there

This is the best, its really warm though so keep that in mind. It is durable, good chest pocket and great length to it. Awesome for a layering or lifestyle piece in the winter.

Superior jacket

This was a gift for my dad and this is what he said "This is an awesome layering piece for my mountaineering. Love it, warm, and well designed. Arcteryx always shines!"

Solid product

I'm 5.7, 150 lbs., 38-40 top, 30 waist. Size bought Med. Although on the expensive side, I do like the product for its feel, fit, and weight. I've used for snowboarding, snow shoe, and hiking . I really like the warmth to weight ratio and it is very comfortable. Very solid base layer imo. Given that I'm not the tallest guy (or one of those tall, skinny guys), the sleeves are read more a little long. No complaints, highly recommended.

Comfortable and Warm

Nice fitting, seems true to size. Nice layer, kept warm and flexible when skiing. Did not bunch up under jacket.

Awesome Warm layer

I picked this up as a warm base layer for skiing and so far its been great! I bought a size large to fit over my light wicking base layer and it fits perfectly. The first day I used it I wore my base layer, this fleece, and my ski jacket and was hot on a 6 degree day. Definitely satisfied with this purchase.

Love it

The fit is great, as always with Arcteryx, but the arms are slightly long (thats a plus for me!) The insulation is soft and it breathes well. It's comfortable and makes for a great midlayer under a puffy, or standalone on cool days.

Great Gift

I bought this pullover for my dad in Black and he LOVES it! He is a tough guy to buy for but he loves how light this pullover is but yet keeps him very warm during the winter. He works outdoors and this pullover kept him really warm during the frigid winters here. He loved it so much he bought himself another one in the grey color. I bought my father a size large because he likes read more the roomier fit and it fits him and his beer belly well.

Warm!

First impressions, Warm! I put before a very early morning walk and it kept me really warm. The fit is true to size and fits snug. Definitely a go-to top for cold days/evenings.

Ridiculously Warm

When I tried on this layer, I started sweating within 15 seconds of putting it one in the room-temperature room. In the snow, this is fantastic, and it fits snuggly so that it easily fits under all jackets and other layers.

Very warm midlayer

I was pretty impressed with the warmth of this one. I ordered it as a mid-layer for snowboarding. Had to take it off twice in the early spring months because it was so warm. I ordered the large, I'm 5'10" and 180lbs, and it was pretty snug on me, I have pretty big shoulders. Definitely could be used as an outer layer in dry, mild conditions.

Extremely tight

I'm 6'0" 200lbs 35waist 34 1/2 sleeve length and wear Large in almost everything Arc'Teryx. The Large in this I ordered fit like a compression shirt in the chest/torso area but the sleeve length was great. Hopefully the XL I exchanged for will be ok in the chest and not to long in the sleeves now...

I've tried the previous Rho AR from a friend and the Medium was perfect. I'm usually a small in every single other top I've had. Should I stick to the Medium for the revised cut?
