I bought this jacket at the end of our ski season for next winter. I wanted a jacket with gortex that will block wind, water,... I ordered a large which is my typical size for a jacket. It fits perfectly. I love the color - Awestruck.

Not the same color as pictured

So disappointed to receive this coat today that looks red in the photo (especially with the brown hat on the model) when actually its more of a burnt brownish orange color. This is a great coat otherwise. Just wish the color were as pictured. Sending it back.

Even better than I had hoped!

After TONS of research took a risk ordering this jacket before leaving in just a few days for Aspen... wasn't sure about size (almost ordered both XS and S to make sure one would fit). Wore today skiing and it was awesome, better even than I had hoped. Weather was sunny and mid-30's so not a day to test the elements. Fit was great; hood perfect over my Smith Vantage helmet, length… read more was spot on and enough give in the material so didn't feel constricting. Plenty of zippered pockets. I do think it runs small- I have narrow shoulders and I'm almost always an XS. I got the S so that I'd have room to wear a down coat or vest underneath. It's not bulky, even with a long sleeve down coat. Crimson is a beautiful merlot color. I've had many ski jackets over the years, this one is for sure a favorite! You won't regret buying this quality jacket; yes it's on the expensive side but I think it'll last a long time and be worth every penny!

Great Jacket

As to be expected with Arc'teryx gear, this jacket is awesome. It keeps you warm and dry in all conditions. I bought this as a gift for my mom and she loves the jacket. It fits true to size and has been great to wear on both blue bird and snowy days.

I am an Arc'teryx junkie when it comes to ski jackets. I have an old Stingray shell and an Andessa down jacket. I got the Ravenna because the shell is now too big on me. This jacket is so much better. It has a super light fleece lining which makes it just a little bit warmer than just a thin shell. The vent zips are also in a great location, much easier and more comfortable than pit zips.

Great Shell, Runs Small!

I purchased this shell for skiing and snowboarding at the resort. This is my first Arc'teryx purchase, and so far, I am incredibly impressed! I typically wear my thermal top and Patagonia down jacket under this shell, and I am always very toasty! I purchased the large to accommodate this layering and based on previous reviews that it runs small. I typically wear a small in every-day… read more tops and usually opt for a medium in shells to allow enough room for layering and movement on the slopes. However, I went for the large in this shell, and although it is on the big side, this is typically my preference for ski-wear. In all, I sized up 2 whole sizes from what I typically wear and I am satisfied with the fit. If you're looking for something more fitted, or don't have bulky layers, then I would recommend sizing up one size.

Warm, fitted shell

Bought this jacket for me wife, here's her review: This jacket is excellent for resort ski days. Compared to the Sentinel jacket, it is more form-fitting, although I can still comfortably fit a couple solid layers underneath this one. Waterproof, warm, good-looking shell

I decided I was tired of looking like I was wearing a potato sack while skiing, but didn't want to go full on ski-bunny. So I bought this, in beautiful bright orange, and you can definitely see me comin' down the mountain! I love the removable hood and roomy pockets.

Perfect for the Elements

My first Arcteryx purchase. So far this does not disappoint. This is a very solid shell. Surprisingly warm yet super lightweight. Simply stylish, no frills, slim fitting. If you are going to layer order a size up as runs a bit on the small side. That being said this is ideal to layer for those blistery days.

Best shell I've ever owned - runs small!

I am 5'10, 140 lbs and consistently a small/size 2. I got a small in this jacket and it was incredibly tight. It's a shell so you're likely going to be layering with a puffy jacket so you'll want some wiggle room. The medium is perfect. Nice and snug/warm when I layer with a puffy and not too baggy when I'm wearing the shell alone when spring skiing. I've never been warm skiing… read more before until I got this jacket. There isn't any insulation but when you layer correctly this thing will trap in heat and create a little oven for you : )

Mom's Jacket of the Decade

My mom loves to ski in the trees. She also tends to buy a ski jacket every 10+ years. Luckily, this Christmas was time to replace the old jacket and I chose the Ravenna XL in Heron (grey). Slim-fitting and good-looking!

This jacket is a beaut. It has a nice, slim look to it, and seems to be bomb-proof. Runs a bit on the small side...I'm a medium in Arc'teryx jackets, but getting this in a medium meant I couldn't layer, so I had to return. Keep this in mind when buying, and if you think you'll be wearing it on cold days, size up. If not, this is your bluebird jacket!

Stylish and Bomber

This was a gift for my wife. She is 5'9 about 110 (she would not be happy if she knew I put that in here). The Small was a perfect fit for her.
