Arc'teryx Cerium LT Down Vest - Women's reviews and deals for sale
Designed to deliver exceptional warmth in cold, dry conditions, the Arc'teryx Women's Cerium LT Down Vest keeps you toasty and comfortable during frigid dawn patrols and cold days at the resort alike. This vest features Down Composite Mapping, which consists of a combination of strategically placed 850-fill European white goose down and Coreloft 100 insulation. The down is placed around your core for exceptional warmth while the synthetic insulation is placed in areas more prone to moisture such as the shoulders and chin. This provides the perfect blend of warmth and moisture management, ultimately keeping you prepared for all conditions on the hill.
The Cerium LT is a trim fit with a high collar allowing for easy, warm layering on extra cold days. Seal out the elements with a hem drawcord and start your ascent up the skin track. The durable Arato face fabric boasts a DWR treatment that resists light flurries when you're skinning up your favorite tree stash. When your hard work starts to heat you up, the vest packs down nice and small into its stuff sack that can be found in the interior zippered chest pocket.

December 28, 2019Fitted Precisely
This is my first Arc Teryx product and I am very happy with it. I got the red, which is a bright, almost orange-red (but still red). I like that it is very fitted because it is unique and more feminine that the other down vests I own. Especially nice is the way the arm holes are quite fitted, which keeps it warm and reduces bulk when worn under another jacket. The red looks… read more really good worn on top of a red base layer shirt, or contrasted with black. I expected it to be warm for the cost and the brand. Indeed it is as warm as you can expect for a garment without sleeves. It keeps the core warm and is usually too warm for a down jacket on top (while winter hiking). The best thing is you can go without a jacket since this vest keeps you warm. Also when you are not active, this is a warm middle layer. The zipper seems small and possibly fragile but I guess that is to keep the weight low. This is now my favorite vest. I wish I could get the other color as well but $$$ my budget must be spread amongst other key gear items.

January 16, 2017Comfy cozy
There's no doubt - Arc teryx makes great clothing for a variety of circumstances. I needed a vest to accompany me to the summit of Kilimanjaro and while I originally tried the SV (severe weather) vest, I switched to the LT (light weight). The *one* thing I wished the LT version had (which I know would make it not LT) was a drawcord. The fit was great through the chest and torso,… read more but a little looser through the hips for me. That being said, the vest was pretty amazing. Brought it along in my daypack for added warmth most days of the hike - was so small and lightweight, it was super convenient.

I want to live inside this vest...super cozy, insanely lightweight but VERY warm...really flattering cut and fit...very flared at the hips, but that works wonderfully for my figure....really great at repelling water and stains.

When I first picked up this vest I thought, no way would it keep me warm. But don't be fooled by it's ultralight weight. It's now my go to underlayer when skiing, adding just enough extra warmth to keep me out all day.

August 6, 2015Perfect light weight vest
I love the fit and weight of this vest. We live in a small mountain town where you need a somewhat warm layer most evenings. This is my go to. I have a couple of Arc'teryx jackets, all XS, so I ordered this one in an XS as well. It fits perfectly with an R1 or lighter under it but if you want to wear it over anything thicker, I would size up because it's definitely fitted. Great… read more piece.

July 9, 2014A couple of issues for me
The vest looked great, until I tried it on. It has an unusual cut. It has a pretty dramatic hourglass shape, and I found that the bottom hem was too big around, although the rest of the vest fit fine. I appreciate the weight savings by having no drawcord, but this vest just wouldn't work for me without one. The second issue was that the front panels are cut on a curve. If you unzip… read more the vest, it is very apparent. The zippers do not lie in a straight line. They curve. What this did for me was cause the front of the vest to pooch out. I guess that wouldn't be so bad, but since I'm small chested, it mainly pooched out towards the bottom, which made me look pregnant. I have another vest made by a different company that has front panels that are not curved, and it does not have this issue. I hope Arcteryx redesigns this vest in the future, because I'd actually like to have one.
