Arc'teryx Cerium LT Down Jacket - Men's reviews and deals for sale
The Arc'teryx Men's Cerium LT Down Jacket weighs in at just under a half pound, but still packs a wallop of warmth when you're ice climbing, backcountry skiing, or out for a hike. Arc'teryx placed 850-fill goose down through the torso and arms, and it added Coreloft synthetic insulation in locations that are likely to suffer exposure to moisture—the shoulders, collar, and along the hem. The dynamic duo of high-tenacity Arato 10 face fabric and high warmth-to-weight down insulation fights cold during those bitterly cold belays, ski transitions, or brief moments at the summit.
Its trim silhouette means you can layer over the Cerium and still put your arms down comfortably by your sides. Underarm articulation gives you upper body mobility so you can plant a pole or swing an ice axe without tearing seams or exposing flank flesh. Light elastic cuffs won't pinch your wrists but will rebuke cold air attempting to slither up your arm. The included stuff sack makes the Cerium LT easy to stash in a backpack when you're ready slap skins back on your skis for another powder lap.

December 26, 2020Love it for the fit
I’m a big Arcteryx fan. Mostly for the design and fit. I have several of their hard shells which are awesome. (Alpha FL and Beta LT) . If I could, I’d give this jacket a 3.5 star rating. The fabric on this piece (and the hooded version I also have) is only ok. Kind of course to the touch. Not smooth like my MH Ghost Wisperer, or the Pertex Quantum fabric in some other down… read more jackets I wear such as the llbean 850 Ultralight jacket. In fact, other than the fit (too baggy) the llbean jacket might be superior- equal quality down (but treated for moisture) and nicer feeling fabric and $100 cheaper. Not as light though. Count me as a skeptic with the “mapping” use of synthetics. If I wanted synthetic insulation, I’d buy a jacket with it. In my opinion it’s just a way to use less down and save manufacturing costs. No complaint on the zipper-most all super lightweight pieces have these small zippers to save weight. Nearly Impossible to work without taking off your gloves. If you can buy it on sale, I’d recommend. It’s certainly not worth $350 in my opinion. But, there is the cache of wearing the Arcteryx brand.

December 2, 2020Like the color and fit
I just got one in Cobalt Moon. The color is deeper than that in the picture. Its a very friendly fit to my board shoulder compared with my TNF similar jacket. Overall 5 stars!

January 23, 2020cool product, but cheap around the edges
This jacket is great, I didnt get the full chance to experience the warmth. The zipper is the cheapest zipper that I have ever come across. I assume its to make it as light and compact as possible, but I feel that in 6 months time I will be having issues with this. Great delivery, REALLY GREAT service from Backcountry, but the product feels a but cheap on some areas.

September 10, 2019Nice jacket but fits snug
Backcountry lists this as Regular fit, Arc'teryx's website says the fit is "Trim". I bought a L but I'm returning it. I usually take a large, I'm 179lbs 5'10 and the fit is snug, it's fine with just a T-shirt under it but being it's a winter jacket I'd like the option of dressing warmer AND being able to zip up my jacket. Trading this for the Arc'teryx Thorium AR. Nice jacket… read more though.

April 23, 2019What do you expect from Arcteryx?
As always, fast delivery. The jacket fits correctly and is cut very nicely. Fitted, but practical too. Looks great on, is very comfortable, and is just warm enough. I’m 6’4” and weigh 230 and a XXL it’s great. Arm length is perfect, chest and shoulders are good. If you know Arcteryx this will be just what you expect. Great gear.

January 25, 2019Patagonia Down Sweater is better
I ordered both this and the patagonia down sweater to compare side to side. Upon trying on the arcteryx cerium jacket,, I noticed right away that the zipper is extremely tiny and feels flimsy. The arcteryx down jacket is MUCH warmer than the patagonia one though at a very similar weight. I'm a TTS XL. I'm 6'3" and 205 lbs, and this thing was made "slim" but it just feels short… read more and is slim in all the wrong places. I'm a very athletically built person and this did not fit me the way I thought it would. The chest felt loose, the waist was short and tight, and the armholes were high with too tight of arms.

November 21, 2018Fantastic Down Jacket
I went from a marmot all around down jacket to the Cerium. Very nice jacket. I usually wear a hoodie under it and it is perfect so far.

October 22, 2018Excellent Lightweight Down Jacket
This has become my go-to lightweight down jacket. It is warm, comfortable and compresses down to about the size of a Nalgene water bottle. I use it for both backpacking and around town. Worn over a lightweight fleece, this jacket is warm with low activity down to the 30s F.

April 9, 2018Lightweight warmth and comfort
This jacket has performed well for a variety of activities, from cold weather camping to a forget about just-in-case layer to bring along backcountry skiing. The material feels comfortable next to skin, and provides enough warmth to throw over a light shirt and feel comfortable during a winter commute. I can't say that I love the styling or colors compared to other Arc'teryx pieces,… read more and I've noticed that the synthetic insulation around the shoulders and cuffs has lost a noticeable amount of loft. I would rather have the full jacket with down, but this is a minor compliant. Overall a great jacket.

February 28, 2018Warm, but weak...
I own tons of Arc'teryx gear and would rate every item purchased in the past at 5 stars. This jacket, however, is a different story. It's warm as he'll, and fits like a glove, but after 4 days on a repelling tower, it's looking pretty shabby. I found a hole in the left pocket on the third day, not sure how it happened, but the fabric seems very delicate. Also, I am constantly finding… read more the insulation penetrating the fabric and needing to be worked back in. The jacket is super light. It packs down as advertised, and it is extremely toasty, but the fabric used seems much more fragile than anything I've ever seen put out by Arc'teryx. Sad, because for the price, I would have expected it to hold up better.

January 2, 2018Perfect in every way
Purchased as a gift for our son. Needed jacket for skiing as well as everyday northeastern weather climate. This fit the need as well for fit and excellent quality. Worth every penny thus far. Time will tell regarding down fill issues.

December 15, 2017Warm for its weight
High quality down, light fabric with synthetic insulation in the right spots and a trim fitting hoodless fit was exactly what I've been looking for. I'm 6'2" 180ish with an athletic build, the large fits perfect under most layers. For cool days at the ski area this works as a stand alone but keeps me toasty with a shell over it. Pros: Warmth for its size. Packability, gets down… read more to about the size of a pint glass in its stuff sack. Trim fitting is great for laying over a mid layer. Light, at 9oz its great for once counters. The had pockets are great, sit above a harness or hip belt. Cons: Zipper is hard to start with gloves. Collar is a little tight. All in all this is an awesome lightweight puffy for anyone looking for a warm jacket. From splitboarding and working at a ski are to using while belaying in the dessert in winter. Price is high but so is the quality

November 28, 2017Odd fit at least for me
I'm 5'9, weigh 150 lbs with a runner's build. I was totally looking forward to this jacket after wearing out my Patagonia Down Sweater for years but found the fit on this jacket a bit off. It's fitted which was a plus, but the arm holes are very high and it's not like I have guns for arms. I've gone with a small for my prior Arcteryx jackets which have all fit perfectly but this… read more one was a miss, at least for me.

Apre' dining and drinks have never been so warm! I haven't used this guy too far into the backcountry just yet but for those cold resort days and my favorite part, apre', this jacket is perfect. You'll be warm, dry, and in style. Bird delivers as always.

October 7, 2017Toasty with style
This was my first Arc'teryx product and the moment I got it, it was a cold night and I had to run to the store. With no hesitation I threw it on and zipped it up. I was comfortably warm before I could turn the heat on in my car. Invest in Arc'teryx. YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH IT . Ill be buying a lot more of their clothing.
