Awesome, versatile jacket!

I love this jacket! I was looking for a good jacket that could be used for a Montana spring or fall. Surprisingly, this lightweight jacket can be layered and easily work for winter as well. It is too snug to wear… read more a big sweater underneath, but even in 30 degree weather I find I don’t need one. It is perfect to put a winter shell over for those brutally cold days. I'm sure if I would've sized up I would have no problem wearing either something bulky underneath or multiple layers, but I prefer it form fitting.

I bought this jacket for my sister and she loves its warmth especially since it doesn't wet out like down jackets. She wears it most days of the winter and occasionally in the spring and fall. It’s the perfect weight and easy to wash and care for. She's 5’3” and 115 lbs and went with the small.

I bought this jacket just a couple weeks ago and I am already in love with it. Its a super light but warm jacket for any mid-weather adventure (just in time for spring). I'm planning to bring this on every trip I take in the spring and summer. It's perfect for aerobic activities as it captures warmth without overheating. The fit is also a plus for me. Go To Jacket

This jacket was clutch climbing Cathedral Peak in Yosemite the first weekend of November. It kept the cold at bay and when we moved into the shadows it paired well with a light windshell. I did a little spot cleaning from climbing dirt and then wore it to the office. Love it!

Awesome jacket for any time of year

I highly recommend this jacket. It's high quality and lightweight, also comes in a lot of awesome colors. I definitely recommend this!

If You Don't Have One, You Should!

The Atom LT is my go-to puffy and ultimate layering piece for everything outdoors. I wear it under a shell skiing and as a stand-alone jacket on chilly days. It keeps me warm enough in cold temperatures, but breathes well enough that I don't steam up. It has stretchy side panels made of Polartec Power Stretch that are flattering and vent heat, while still keeping you warm. The… read more pockets are even fleece lined to keep your hands extra warm. While the performance of this jacket is amazing, the comfort of this jacket is even more impressive to me. I would literally wear this jacket every day if I could. It is so soft and feels like butter when you're wearing it. Another consideration when purchasing a puffy jacket is durability. I've had mine for eight years now and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. The fit is slightly trim fit, but tapered. If you like a slim look, go for your regular jacket size, if you want extra room for layering, size up. I'm often asked as a Gearhead what my favorite piece of gear is. Hands down without hesitation, the answer is always the Atom LT. If you ever come into Backcountry's office during spring, summer, or fall, there is a seriously good chance you'll see me wearing one of my Atom LTs and a ton of other employees, as well. Basically, I can't think of a good reason not to have one. If you want the warmest version of the Atom LT, get the hooded version, if you want an even lighter version, consider the vest. She absolutely loves it and pretty much where is it with everything she owns it’s warm without being too warm and has just enough room that she can wear something under it she absolutely loves it

Great mid-layer or stand alone

The Atom LT jacket is a great addition to any closet! It has nice, breathable side panels that allows you to engage in high output activity without feeling the build up of perspiration inside the garment. A Great Multi-Purpose Jacket

Sleek, Stylish, and Warm

This jacket has it all. It is compact, yet still very warm. It serves as a perfect outer layer for your daily needs, and can even be worn as an under-layer on those colder days! Definitely recommend this jacket to anyone!

WOW love it and so many uses!

Easy to pack, doesn't wrinkle, light weight, yet offers surprising warmth. I use it as a jacket to work, to bike or rollerblade, to cross country ski, as a layer under a shell for colder downhill skiing. Love the length a bit longer over the butt for extra warmth. A touch of warmth

... but really, just a touch. This is a great jacket for temps in the 30s (under a shell) or 50s-60s (alone) but if you're looking for some serious insulation, this is not for you. I know, it says "LT" -- take that seriously, and if you need something truly warm, go for the AR version instead. Truly a 3-season jacket that can span a range of conditions. It's also very easy to layer over. I got the non-hooded version for maximum versatility. Like some Arc'teryx items, the fit is a bit of a mystery -- some things run small, while others are large; this one is in the latter category. If you're between sizes, I would recommend sizing down rather than up.

Too short!

I love everything about this jacket except for the length! I am on the shorter side (5'4) and I still find it too short. Such a huge shame! Because otherwise it is perfect as a jacket for between seasons.

BOMBER!!!

My wife has one of these and she loves it. The material is made out of dragon skin because she beats this to shit and has never had a rip or tear in the material. Warm enough for a spring m'cycle ride!

That's 5'-7" Katie in a size small Atom LT jacket. We rode my motorcycle to a walk around Ada Hayden Lake in Ames, Iowa and the Atom LT held back the morning's 26 deg wind chill temp. We both think the Atom LT is a great jacket (I've had mine for over 4 years). It's warm and lightweight and just feels great. With its athletic/trim cut, it looks great too. Highly recommended.

Patina Teal is Darker in Real Life

The Patina Teal is a darker teal in real life. It's much more green-tinted. I gave this as a gift to the winter runner in our family, and she loves it! Although the color is not as pictured, she still loved the color.

Warm and light!

I love this ultra light jacket. With its articulated sleeves and close fit it feels great over a light fleece or anything for that matter. Water beaded nicely in rain on last hike.
